Sometimes in life we carry on as if we hold the keys to our own destiny.
We hold onto things that are not important, and we miss out on the big picture.
Then we wonder why everything seems to be going wrong:
- Working harder
- Our pay seems less and less each week
- Sleepless nights
- Excessive eating
- Fewer social activities
- Little communication with others
- Exhausted all the time
- Unhealthy relationships
- Spending needless hours away from home
We spend so much time building on things that were never intended for us to build.
My friends, the answer to the question is:
GOD holds the keys that unlock our destiny.
God has a plan for you:
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. (Philippians 1:6)
If you’re –
- Out if fellowship with God
- Forsaking the gathering of the brethren
- Not sharing what He spoke to your heart
- Not telling others about His love
Then, my friend, you are holding the keys to your destiny…not Him.
